Good morning!

Happy Birthday to Nevaeh Mock in 4th Grade!

May 14, 2018 - May 18, will be Cooks Choice.

Middle School students - The office will have 75 yearbooks for sale for $20.00. You may stop by and pre pay for a yearbook. You won't receive it until the last week of school.

Today at 3:00 will be the last perfect attendance celebration with the drawing for one Kindle Fire to a K-5 student and a 6-8 student.

Monday, May 21st will be the 6th-8th Grade Band/Choir Concert here at Hotchkiss K-8, in the Don Tate Gym at 6:00 p.m. We hope you can come out and support our wonderful music program here at Hotchkiss K-8.

Parents, please come see the 8th grade final Science/STEM project on May 22nd. Each 8th grader will be demonstrating a science, technology, engineering or math concept to all the other grades in the school from 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. Anyone is welcome to come and share in this opportunity to see the 8th graders in action.

On Wednesday, May 23rd we will bring the Opera to HK8 where they will perform “Cinderella”. They will have two performances; the 6th-8th grade show will be at 12:00 p.m. and the K-5th grade show will be at 2:00 p.m.

Wednesday, May 23rd we will have an 8th grade Continuation Ceremony for all our 8th graders and their families at 5:00 p.m., in the Don-Tate Gym. This will be a chance for us to reflect on their time here at Hotchkiss K-8 and wish them well as they continue on with their education at Hotchkiss High School. After the ceremony the parents will put on a dinner and celebration for the kids at Zack’s.

Open gym is finished this school year and will start back up in July sometime.

Also, the Pre-School will have their Program (multi-purpose room) at 6:00.

Happy Birthday to Reagan Hawk in Prek!

Friday, May 18th, tomorrow 8:15 G/T Field Trip to Aspen Art Museum. 1st Grade Field Trip to Thistle Whistle, they will leave at 12:15 p.m. 7th/8th graders will take their year-end trip tomorrow, Friday, May 18th to Spin City (7th) and Bananas (8th) in Grand Junction.

Students and parents - Lunch charges, and any other charges need to be paid before you can go on any class field trips. Thank you!
